Okwuchukwu Allen Waobikeze, whom many referred to as known as “Babaoo,” the left-footed winger who once graced the Super Eagles, has passed away. The death was confirmed by his brother, Eli Waobikeze, in a Facebook statement posted on Monday evening.
Waobikeze carved out a distinguished career in Nigeria’s domestic league, featuring prominently for Sharks FC (Port Harcourt), BCC Lions (Gboko), and Iwuanyanwu Nationale (now Heartland FC).
He died in Houston, Texas Where he has been a member Houston Green Eagles.
